Derek Johnson – Owner

I’m Derek, the founder of Johnson Carpentry & Remodeling—a licensed, veteran-owned design/build general contracting company serving the greater Triangle area (License #100665). I spent nearly 9 years on active duty as a Navy Corpsman, with deployments in both OIF and OEF. After my military service, I worked as a Flight Nurse, where precision, care, and attention to detail were non-negotiable. I bring that same mindset to every project we take on—building with integrity, craftsmanship, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
